The Best Travel Accessory Ever

When I was at WITS2018, I got to know a few brands that were showcasing at the expo there. All were related to travel and one caught my eye instantly. Waypoint Goods has designed the perfect travel accessory in the form of an infinity scarf.

Why is it perfect? Well, just like any single dress that is made now, that becomes the ultimate game changer for most women, this infinity scarf has got a built-in POCKET.

I was so excited about the possibility of a pocket in a scarf, I couldn’t stop talking about it. The amazing Caitlin Blythe, founder and owner of Waypoint Goods, chatted with me about the designs, the colours and styles, and I was so pumped to tell you! And wouldn’t you know? I told her about my charity event that was coming up, and she gave me an infinity scarf, passport wallet and money clip for my raffle on the spot! Thank you, Caitlin!!

I immediately thought of my upcoming travels to Europe and thought this would be a game changer for me as well. As a blogger, I always have my phone on the ready to take pictures as we go around. But going from he airport to flights and any other forms of transportation, I want to have my phone in an easy and safe spot. I don’t always have a small purse with me, especially if I have backpack for the day with the family.

One thing I have learned on flights is that I hate leaving my phone in the front of my seat. That seat pocket is fine and good for garbage and books and wires, but when it come to my phone, I want it on me, especially if I happen to fall asleep. The Waypoint Goods infinity scarf has the pocket so well placed and it’s big enough for a smart phone, plus earbuds and even some money or small wallet. This especially leaves your hands free and you do not have worry with another bag or purse.

Now I know what you are thinking right now: In this heatwave of a summer, who in their right mind would be wearing a scarf? I can ell you I am truthfully surprised how many times I have been wearing this scarf since we got off the plane. For the flight, it was absolutely perfect. I was thrilled to wear the scarf the whole flight. If I wasn’t wearing it as a scarf, I wore it as a shall or half-blanket.

During our travels, I have used it so many times!

  • When we visit churches and I am wearing a tank top, the scarf is a perfect accessory to cover my shoulders, to respect the traditions of the visit.
  • When we are in the car for road trips, this scarf is big enough to keep me at the perfect temperature when we have the air conditioner on. I have used it on my legs when I have shorts on and around my shoulders to keep my arms out of the sun.
  • We have had a few rainy periods, so the scarf came in handy on my shoulders and at times, even on my head!
  • And truthfully, on nights when we are on the boat, flying on the water, I wear my jean jacket and my infinity scarf, since my summer outfits are much cooler for summer days.

I love having the Waypoint Goods infinity scarf with me during our travels and I know it will be my go-to accessory for all my trips now!
