Are you ready to experience an epic show with massive, life-like dinosaurs?! I have been fortunate enough to see two similar shows with my boys and let me tell you, it is unforgettable! Children will love seeing the dinosaurs they have learned about in books and videos come to life on stage. Exciting and educational, Dinosaur World Live is coming to Montreal’s Maisonneuve Theater May 7th!
What is Dinosaur World Live?
Using stunning puppetry to bring remarkably life-like dinosaurs to the stage, DINOSAUR WORLD LIVE presents a host of impressive pre-historic creatures including every child’s favourite flesh-eating giant, the Tyrannosaurus Rex, along with a Giraffatitan, Microraptor, Segnosaurus, and Triceratops. The show introduces Miranda, daughter of paleontologists, who grew up surrounded by dinosaurs on a far-away island off the coast of South America. She has brought her pre-historic pals to your local theatre and would love you to meet them. Warning: some of these dinosaurs aren’t as docile as they seem!
What To Expect from Dinosaur World Live
The production has categorized this show for children ages three and up. At the last show, there were loud roars from the T-Rex and explosions from the laboratory, but I’m not sure if that will be the case with this show. However, if your children love all things dinosaurs, they will be thrilled with the roars and any potential explosions. The running time is 50 minute with a 15 minute meet and greet afterwards, where children can get up close and make a new dinosaur friend.
