The wait is almost over! After falling in love with Riley and her five big emotions in Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out almost a decade ago, we are finally going to have more of this story with Inside Out 2, in theaters June 14.
Back when Inside Out hit theatres, I took my boys to see it right away. We all loved it and, only as Disney and Pixar does, it hit me in the feels. Of course, this was a movie about emotions after all, but there were so many parts of this animation that truly hit deeply when it comes to feelings, growing up and expressing yourself to others.
Here is the synopsis:
Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as Headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety, Envy, Ennui and Embarrassment show up. The all-new feature film releases only in theatres June 14, 2024.
Anxiety? Are you kidding me? This is going to be a roller-coaster of a movie and just at the right time – my boys are all teens now, and every child that saw the first movie will be at about that age as well. Teens and emotions are a real thing, and I can’t wait to see what Disney and Pixar have put together in this sequel.

I’m really looking forward to seeing this movie and all the new emotions! If I had to pick an emotion I am most excited for it would be Embarrassment!
Embarrassment will be fun to see as a character for sure!
I’m most excited about Anxiety, I have a feeling it will be quite the trouble-maker in this sequel!
