The Harlem Globetrotters are Coming to Montreal!

You guys.

I am so amazed by the Harlem Globetrotters and it has been such a privilege to meet some of the team, write about them, and see them in Montreal multiple times. The Globetrotters travel the world through a love of basketball, showmanship, and beating rivals – the Washington Generals. I love seeing the reactions of the crowd as they see the team make unbelievable trick shots, super fun plays, and hilarious anecdotes throughout the game.

Every time they come to town, I get excited! It brings me right back to being a kid and going to see the Harlem Globetrotters with my dad. We had the best time! Since then, I’ve brought my kids to see them too, and made new memories. You can read about our experiences, see our videos, and watch my interview with Buckets Blakes here: Globetrotters Posts.

The globetrotters will be touring 150 cities across North America. With only nine stops in Canada for this tour, Montreal is so fortunate to have them play at the Bell Center in Montreal and Place Bell in Laval.

Seeing the Harlem Globetrotters LIVE

You may have heard a lot about the team and what they do. But to see them play live is a totally different and incredible experience. We love it every time. Their signature 4-point shot, coordinating moves, and expert ball-handling skills are truly amazing. And they are funny! Seeing them interact with the crowd and with each other is so fun and will crack you up!

Not Just Basketball

Did you know the Harlem Globetrotters are so much more than an amazing basketball team? Each player is a world ambassador for good. Their series, Harlem Globetrotters: Play it Forward, is in its second season on NBC and showcases non-profit organizations and the people who lead them. It is a feel-good series that shows people making a difference in everyday people and their community.  The series is also available in Spanish, Genando Con La Comunidad, on Telemundo and Peacock.
