Perfect Gift for Your Little Crafter – It’s Poppit! #Giveaway

Here we go!

I’ve been holding on to these amazing gifts for a while now in anticipation for a holiday giveaway extravaganza that will rock your socks off!

Who needs a little help for holiday shopping this year? We all do! The holidays can be stressful, trying to find the right gift for the right little person. I walked into the shopping mall the other day and got overwhelmed by the choices! And the big box toy store? Even worse! The consensus through conversations and online chats is that pretty much NO ONE has finished their gift shopping and many haven’t even started yet. Hey! We’re all really busy! Myself included.

So, in the next few posts, I will share with you my favourite finds for this year for your children. And thanks to my amazing collaborating brands, I have some incredible, hard-to-find giveaways just for you!

So let’s get started, shall we?

For your Crafter:

Let me paint you a picture. My boys adore crafting. They still love their Play-Doh and creating little figurines. Sometimes, though, they want their creations to last and so naturally, we have tried (I say tried for a reason) clay. Well! There are some downsides to clay, and if you’re a mama of elementary school aged kids, you know what I’m talking about. There’s the wait time for it to dry, the desire to paint the clay right away even before it’s dry, and then, the moment that it inevitably breaks by accident because it is too dry…sigh.

Enter, Poppit, from Moose Toys. This is a raging trend right now, that I do not think will go away for a long time. Poppit uses a non-toxic dry clay that is already coloured (love that!).  This is a no mess project; there is no painting required, no glue required, and the figurines your kids make will already be beautiful before they are finished drying! The fun part is in the molds and the ‘pop’ your kids can do once they create their molds. Have a look:

I would love to show you this in action in our home, but these presents are going under the tree! I especially love finding a gift for children that they can play with and craft during the holiday break. And this is going to be a winner! My animal-loving twin will receive the Mini Puppies set and my other Shopkins-loving twin will receive the Shopkins Ballet Collection set.

If you are looking for a full review, you can check out my friend Christine from Life on Manitoulin for her review with her daughter.

Obviously, due to its small parts, this is not suitable for young children. But I can see this being a delight for elementary school kids of all ages (5+ years old).

The Starter Theme Pack is $19.99, Theme Refill Packs are $14.99 and the very popular Shopkins Collection is $24.99, and larger Pop ‘n’ Display Bakery is $39.99. Extra Clay Packs are a must and they are $9.99. Look for them in stores such as Michael’s, Toys R Us, Sears and more.

Visit the Poppit website for more information.

She likes making just about anything, but had a fondness for polymer clay. She’s currently making a bracelet with fruit shaped charms.

My little guys are too young for arts & crafts. Their at the “eat the glue and lick the crayon” stage but my 10 year old niece loves them. She’s great at art work like painting and clay and loves making jewelry for us. I’d love to surprise her with this! She’s a huge Poppit fan. Thank you and happy holidays ?
