As a mom of three who loves reading and who sells children’s books, there are a lot of books that come my way on a daily basis for review or comments. Some are not in relation to my blog or my children, and some, quite frankly just don’t fit the bill. I take book reviews seriously when it comes to dishing out money for a book for your children’s education or for your 2-3 minutes of time alone in between taking care of your family and the day to day mama chores.

One of my little ones got a hold of the digital camera the other day. This is his view of a perfect summer day:

I don’t know about you, but this time of year feels like everything is passing at warp speed! Even with my tips I still feel that there are not enough hours in the day.

Making mini pies for children for lunch or dinner is a sure-fire win! Here’s how.

It’s no secret in our home that Papa MOE is the worst eater in the bunch. Friends and family have poked fun at it for years, and I have tried with him, like a Mama tries with her children, to get him to eat better. It’s not that he eats terrible food. Whatever I’m making is what’s for dinner, so the main meal is healthy. But Papa MOE…just can’t get himself to eat vegetables.
I’m not joking. -
As much as I am thrilled the event went well and we all had a great time, I was really tired afterwards and have been all week. There was a time when going out late (much later than my event) was really no big deal.

Summer is on its way and my friends are already talking about having barbeques and enjoying parties on the deck. Sounds great, right? It does to me! Good food, good fun…One of the best parts about summer is being able to invite friends and family over to enjoy their company. Doesn’t it seem that whenever you have people over it automatically revolves around food?

You have to hand it to them, Janice and Susan and their team at 5minutesformom.com really know their stuff. The Ultimate Blog Party is over and I have learned so much again!

With three children under five years old, you can bet that the concept of spring cleaning sounds glorious. A spotless hallway free of sand and mud? A kitchen without finger prints all over the fridge and stove? Or how about a floor that shines? It’s a lovely thought.

If you haven’t clicked on the sidebar yet (the cute one to the right with colourful stars), then do it today to join the fun. It’s time for The Ultimate Blog Party 2012!
