Disney On Ice Presents: Treasure Trove

It’s that time of year again! The magical world of Disney is on its way to Montreal with its new show, Treasure Trove. Presented by Evenko and Feld Entertainment, the show will be a medley of tales spanning 50 years from the first animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, to the 50th film, Tangled.

This Disney On Ice is produced by sisters, Nicole and Juliette Feld, a first for the company.

“Watching Disney movies is a special pastime for many families. For Treasure Trove, we wanted to extend that experience by producing one remarkable show to commemorate the everlasting legacy of Disney animated film, live on the ice,” says Juliette Feld.

Expect to see many of your favourite characters such as Peter Pan and the Lost Boys, and Simba and his friends Timon and Pumbaa. All the princesses from Snow White up to Rapunzel will be there (not Elsa and Anna, in case your kids are looking for them).  Alice in her Wonderland world has an amazing skating number with the Queen of Hearts’ Army of Cards, sure to thrill everyone!

I think that this may be a show that both my kids (age 8 and 23 months) can enjoy!
The first movie that my son absolutely loved (and still does) is lion king. I’m sure over the years, he has watched it at least 50 times!
My daughter is still little but loves Minnie Mouse!

When my youngest was born a few years ago (Tyler Lennox), my oldest was always watching Peter Pan and we started calling my youngest Tyler Lilly since he seemed to lover Tiger Lilly and it matched with his name. My oldest then started to call his brother Tilly and the nickname stuck ever since. They still love Peter Pan and so do we.

My boys currently love Toy Story and like to pretend they are Cowboys. They are the best of friends just like Buzz and Woody.

My favourite Disney movie is the Beauty and the beast. It shows kids that the most important thing is what is inside and not what the outside looks like.
