As a new mother of twins, there is nothing more incredible than having your babies finally home with you, safe and sound. However, what would you do if you had an emergency? Would you be ready for something as basic as a feeding emergency?
With permission from Birthing magazine, I am sharing the full article I wrote for them called When a Medical Emergency Becomes a Feeding Emergency. It might sound unlikely, but this is what happened to me and my babies when they were just a few months old.
I remember this moment like it was yesterday. I was wheeled off to the hospital by ambulance as my three babies were home. It was so surreal, so upsetting. And in that moment, I wasn’t even thinking of my health, I was thinking of my babies. I really hope it helps even just one mother out there to know you are not alone. This is an important subject that I am grateful to share with you.
