  • If you are a mama of my generation, when you think of a toy telephone, the only toy that will pop into your head is the Fisher-Price toy rotary phone, right? Fisher-Price toys are synonymous with our era. I can honestly say I was a Fisher-Price kid. The other day I searched “vintage Fisher-Price” (sigh) and sure enough, every childhood memory I had came rushing straight back to me when I saw the toys I used to have.

  • Have you ever tried this parlor trick? I found it, as I find a lot of cool things, on Pinterest. My kids were fascinated with it! The natural candle is made from the skin of a Clementine orange with the center skin inside. All you have to do is add some olive oil inside and then once you light the skin, it will burn until the olive oil runs out.

  • When I was young, my father would come back from business trips with small figurine dolls dressed in typical attire of different countries around the world. I had a pretty extensive collection with dolls from Ireland, North America, and Italy, to name a few. To me, I felt like I was being taught something. In some ways I was, because from each doll came a story from my parents about places I had never been to but was hoping to see when I got older.
