Children love balloons. It’s a well known fact that even though they can cry if their balloon pops in their faces they will still be back for more. The colours, the way they float and the pure celebration of them keeps kids attracted no matter what their age. Now, magnify that happy feeling that kids get by 100% and you will feel what it’s like to attend the hot air balloon festival in St Jean sur Richelieu. And amazing experience for kids young and old, the Montgolfieres St Jean sur Richelieu is the largest hot air balloon gathering in all of Canada.

Have you started following the ABC Friday Photo Share? I’m a little late getting this in today but I am really having fun with this meme created by the fantastic Maple Leaf Mommy and Mom Vs The Boys.

I don’t know about you, but I find it really easy to feed my children well. However, when it comes to me, I am getting stinking lousy at it! With the change in season, and the rush of school activities and holidays ahead, it would make perfect sense to eat well for my own health. But here I am, a little under the weather and I should have practiced what I always preach.

At our house, there is no shortage of stuffed animals. My little ones refer to them as “stuffies”. Sometimes, I wish I could hide them all because they just take over the home! But alas, I remember being a little one too.

My husband and I approach the gate and smile as we take in the site of the blue and yellow big top. We are about to see the new performance, Amaluna, by Cirque du Soleil. I was invited to attend as a blogger so I meet and greet the press team and then I am given my tickets for the show.

There are still a couple of weeks left before summer is gone so make the most of it! How about taking a trip to the beach? We are! We’ve been dreaming about it since we booked the trip over a month ago! The sand, the ocean, the waves, the picnics, we can’t wait!

I am so thrilled to be taking part in this fantastic event!
Not too long ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Pampered Patty during my own networking/charity event. She’s wonderful! Since then, we have been keeping in touch via Twitter and our blogs. So when she told me she was going to put together a blog party with Whispered Inspirations, Mom vs. The Boys, Good Girl Gone Green and Kat’s Confessions to celebrate Canadian bloggers, I wrote it in my calendar and anxiously awaited the date!
