Water balloons. It’s always been a love-hate relationship, am I right? Or at least it has always been with me.
As a kid, trying to fill the water in the balloons and then tie them individually was always a long and tedious event. And now as a parent of three children, it takes a lot of time and effort to get enough water balloons ready for a proper water balloon fight.
Well, all that is over thanks to what I consider to be the smartest summer toy invented in a long time.
Bunch O Balloons hit the shelves a couple of years back after a Kickstarter campaign and I have to say I was skeptic. Although it looked good, I didn’t think it was possible to actually fill so many water balloons with such speed and ease. And sometimes, those amazing commercials don’t live up to their product.
Now I am a believer!!
And you will be too after you see this family video I made (seeing really is believing in this case):
Yes!!!
And this is what the little nozzle looks like for the hose:
But here’s what’s even better, and what I really needed to know beforehand:
- The nozzle piece that is used to fill the water balloons is recyclable.
- The water balloons and the little elastics on each water balloon are biodegradable.
So not only is it easier (a million percent) than the old school water balloons, but they are better for the environment as well! This awesome invention was created by a father of eight (love that!).
The only downside now to any epic balloon fight is the clean up. And we wanted to be sure we got all the bits and pieces off the backyard grass and pavement so the birds and chipmunks didn’t eat them. So here is my tip:
Make cleaning up a challenge – tell the kids for every 10 pieces of water balloon they pick up they receive 25 cents. Trust me, it adds up and they will not leave anything on the ground!
So who is ready to have their own water balloon fun with Bunch O Balloons?
Disclosure: I was compensated to write this review. All opinions are honest and my own.

I would love to start a water balloon fight with my sons and grandsons. I would definitely need to be a little brave and have some back up. I would do this maybe when they arrive home from work , hopefully feeling tired, so I could win. I would do this in their backyard.

If I were brave enough I would start a waterfight, just randomly on the street. I’d have a few buckets set up and start. 😀 Like the Coca Cola commercial at the Vancouver2010 Winter Olympics. Go watch it! it’s awesome!
