So tell me, are you in the Valentine mood, yet??
The weekend before Valentine’s Day is always a busy time over at our place. There is baking, creating crafty gifts and get Valentine notes ready for school sweethearts. And when I’m on my own, I take a moment to write my kids a letter.
This weekend, we will also be including some of the kids’ favourite Disney characters. Disney Junior has a Valentine and friendship themed lineup with new episodes of Doc McStuffins, Jake and the Never Land Pirates and Handy Manny. The fun starts Sunday morning at 9am, February 10th.
Tip:Bring a drawing table into the room where you will watch something with your kids. Get them prepared with fun colouring pages of the characters they are watching or of the theme that the episode is discussing. It’s a fun way to incorporate a little bit of learning with show time.
