Do you remember the first movie you saw with the love of your life?
I do. (No pun intended.)
Do you remember the first movie you saw with the love of your life?
I do. (No pun intended.)
As you can see by my go-to chocolates, I am strictly a milk chocolate lover. That is, with the exception of one fine white chocolate dessert. Grandma MOE used to make this for family and friends every holiday season in a beautiful chocolate wreath mould. I started the tradition last year, but this year I was a little late in the game. So I thought, why not introduce you to it for Valentine’s Day?
Wishing you all peace and joy this holiday season.
I wanted to write about a long running favorite shopping place in the MOE family. Jouets Choo-Choo is a local toy shop that has been around since 1996, and is now an online shop as well. I love shopping there for my children as well as other little ones for many reasons. First and foremost, the quality of toys that Jouets Choo-Choo carries is exceptional.
Have you seen the beautiful black and white picture in my blog title? Of course you have! I put it there for all of you because seeing my little ones’ toes makes me so happy, and I thought it would do the same for you. Photographer extraordinaire, Valerie Pyke, is responsible for that great shot. She has been making house calls at our place ever since my twins were born.
I don’t know about you, but I feel like this year moves in warp speed leading up to Christmas Day. It seems that I blinked and suddenly it became December! Now I already see people starting to scramble. Scramble for time, shopping lists, parties and events. It’s getting crazy! So, in an effort to make your shopping decisions easier, I have been working on my first Christmas Gift Guide!
As most of you may be aware, I have reached a big milestone recently: I now have over 1000 followers on Twitter! I am so thrilled about this milestone and even more thrilled that I am able to offer you, my fabulous blog readers and tweeps, a great giveaway!
So here I am, coming to the close of one year of blogging.
My first post was brief and shy, (To The Future) who knew this blog would blossom into THIS?!
Canada in the fall.
It’s a beautiful thing.
The initial rush of getting back in order for a new school year has slightly subsided for most families and now the groove has set in. And before the fall season changes (ever so drastically) to winter (bite my tongue), I encourage everyone to get your families out for some fall fun.
The wind is blowing and fall is here
Children are preparing a new school year
Parents are anxious, happy and sad
Makes them remember their Mom and Dad
How did they do it? How much they went through…
