Magic In Montreal with Masters of Illusion {giveaway!}

“Mama! Mama! I have a magic trick for you!”

This is something that I hear once a week in the afternoon, because my children are taking an afterschool magic class.

They absolutely love it.

And they love that they can perform for Papa MOE and I at home. It’s pretty darn cute.

I think there is something wonderful about magic, and it will never lose its luster for me. I haven’t taken an official poll, but I think magic is something everyone gets a kick out of, young and old.

So I was thoroughly thrilled when Evenko invited me to participate in promoting Masters of Illusion coming to Montreal this March 5th at Théâtre Maisonneuve on their “Believe the Impossible” tour!

If you are in town for March break, this is a fantastic event not to be missed! It will bring your staycation up to a whole other level!

The show is touring across the US and Canada and it is the largest touring magic show. The award winning cast was recently brought together to perform live in front of a worldwide television audience, when the CW aired “Masters of Illusion” the series this summer/fall. But nothing beats the real thing, and my kids are going to have a blast seeing this live!

Audiences can expect to see grand illusions, levitating women, appearances, vanishes, escapes, comedy magic, sleight of hand and beautiful dancers all rolled up into one live show. And for parents who are weary of the performance for the age of their children, I did ask in advance for you (and for me) and Evenko has assured me this is a family show for all ages. For those of you who want a bit more reassurance, you can take a look at the clip of the show here:

Everything about watching your kids grow up is magical 🙂 especially seeing the world through their eyes, always full of wonder and amazement. It reminds you to enjoy and value the little things, little moments. My kids love magic too and enjoy playing and trying to figure out tricks from a magic kit received one Christmas. This would be great to see!

In our house, the magic happens at dinner time when we all share funny things that happened during our day. Dad works for an international software company, Mom is a busy entrepreneur & teacher, oldest daughter is in middle school and youngest in grade school. That makes for many, many laughable moments!

My family is the best magical experience that I could ever have
Family faces are magic mirrors, looking at people who belong to us, we see the past, present and future…

A magical thing about my family is watching my kids discovering new things they never thought they’d like. Their big bright eyes sparkle and they smile from ear to ear.
