14 Ways to Sneak In “I Love Us”

I can hardly believe that Valentine’s Day is coming up! It feels like we just celebrated a new year. Time flies, doesn’t it? So it’s so important to stop and smell the roses…and appreciate the love around you.

It can get tricky when you have lots of kids to take care of, chores to get to, and work keeping you busy. My husband and I could use a little extra help in the romance department without losing out minds trying to figure out how or what to do. It’s a running joke that because my husband is an engineer his amygdala must be malfunctioning most days. It’s just hard for him to express his romantic side, and poor guy, I give him a hard time about it.

Well, Hallmark created this really cute little notepad called 100 Notes to Share “I Love Us”. Imagine 100 ready-made love notes, just as cute as a Hallmark greeting card, ready to fold up at any time and give to your partner to remind them that you are thinking of them. Love it!

Here are 14 ideas where you can place these notes and give a little love:

  1. On the visor of the car
  2. Attached to the seat belt
  3. On top of a pile of (folded!) laundry
  4. Stuck on the bathroom mirror
  5. In the microwave
  6. Near the coffee maker (with coffee ready!)
  7. In a coat pocket
  8. Under his pillow
  9. In a book (s)he’s reading
  10. In the desk drawer
  11. In the fridge (with a favourite dish/snack!)
  12. In a cereal box
  13. On the exercise machine
  14. On the hanger of his/her outfit for the day

You know what’s great about this? Chances are, your partner won’t find them all the same day. So some notes will be found days, or weeks later, letting love linger! I kept my list to 14 for V-Day but I had a few other ideas. Can you think of any other ideas where you could leave a love note for your partner?

I always find something at Hallmark that can show someone I really care about them.

When Hallmark Canada told me I was chosen again this year to be a #LoveHallmarkCA Ambassador, I was so happy. I can honestly tell you that Hallmark is one of the few stores that I always check out and shop at, even after I receive my wonderful packages straight from the company! I just love gifting Hallmark items because they are so special. Whether it’s a beautifully crafted greeting card, a sweet plush bear, or a beautifully crafted figurine, everything I find at the Hallmark Canada stores just fit whoever I am thinking of giving a gift to. To see everything I received from Hallmark Canada, be sure to check my live broadcast on Periscope. I’ll discuss all the gifts and pricing, as well as have a lively chat on Valentine’s Day gifts.

I put little notes in his lunch. I try to make them as embarrassing as possible so his coworkers get a giggle too!

I have taped one to the mirror in the morning so he sees it when he goes to shower.
